Spring is in the Air! It's time to put your winter jacket away (if you live in Georgia you probably put that away a month ago). Take out your swim suit and shake the dust off...it will fit...you've been exercising right?! Check your sunscreen too! Sunscreen does have an expiration date...don't come inside that first day out looking like a raccoon! Lastly, test out your cute swimmies...blow them up to full capacity...then POP them! If your child is an Aquatic Self-Survival Student from Infant Swimming Resource, no swimmies are required. They can swim...just watch them! Copyright © 2012 ISR of Lake Lanier, LLC

Even if you don't have children, a pool fence should still be a MUST and most importantly does your pool fence stay secure? Swimming pools attract people from all ages and include your family, friends and neighbors. Think about this...no matter how many signs and warnings you put up, some people may still end up trespassing and using your pool. To top it off what if child wanders into your pool area and they accidentally become injured or drown in your pool, you can and probably will be sued for negligence. Crazy huh? Bottom line is that you should test your pool fence regularly to make sure it is locked and periodically do the "shake test". Directions: Using both hands walk the perimeter of the fence and shake every part, even the gate. Lastly, LOCK YOUR FENCE. Copyright © 2012 ISR of Lake Lanier, LLC |
