Even if you don't have children, a pool fence should still be a MUST and most importantly does your pool fence stay secure? Swimming pools attract people from all ages and include your family, friends and neighbors. Think about this...no matter how many signs and warnings you put up, some people may still end up trespassing and using your pool. To top it off what if child wanders into your pool area and they accidentally become injured or drown in your pool, you can and probably will be sued for negligence. Crazy huh? Bottom line is that you should test your pool fence regularly to make sure it is locked and periodically do the "shake test". Directions: Using both hands walk the perimeter of the fence and shake every part, even the gate. Lastly, LOCK YOUR FENCE. Copyright © 2012 ISR of Lake Lanier, LLC
